NYC should also know about preparing reports for media/news statement. Each NYV should know the using of required mobile Apps (for example Digidhan, Digital India etc). 
• d) Formation of New youth clubs, activisation of defunct youth clubs is the major task of each volunteer. 
• e) Organizing NYKs regular and special programme with the help of Youth clubs. 
• f) Guiding and motivating youth clubs members for involving themselves in community development programmers 
• g) Recommending active/ dedicated members of youth clubs for NIC, Skill training, international youth exchange programme etc. to District Youth Officer. 
• h) To maintain records of programmers conducted by youth clubs. 
• i) To submit regular reports / online reports highlighting their work on regular basis. 
• j) Maintain liaison with development departments and youth work agencies in the block/ district. 
• k) To attend meetings regularly, at concerned Kendra.

1. Background 

The Competent authority has directed that the entire selection process of NYVs for the year 2021-22 should be completed at the earliest in a transparent and time bound manner. In view of provision of the scheme of NYC, it has been decided by the Competent Authority to deploy meritorious young candidates having dedication, talent, enthusiasm and fulfilling the required conditions as NYVs.
It is made clear that in order to streamline the system of deployment of NYVs, the following aspects are to be followed:- a) Any volunteer, deployed against any vacancy in between, should be deployed for the remaining period only, of that financial year (up to 31st March). This will ensure that from April, the whole system of NYV deployment will be as per financial year i.e. 1 st April to 31st March. b) For considering continuation of any volunteer in the 2 nd year, proposals along with details of specific achievements made by the particular NYVs may be placed before the NYV selection committee for necessary decision. c) In case, the deployment process is delayed due to election code of conduct and other reasons, then the deployment should be made only up to the remaining part of the financial year i.e. up to 31st March, of that year. Further, in case, their term is extended in the 2nd year, the extension will be up to 31st March of the extended year or completion date of their 2nd year term whichever is earlier

In view of all these conditions, the recruitment which companies had put on hold in the IT sector in the coming days is now slowly starting. By March-April next year, the job rate could increase by 10-15%.

Companies will hire after January

Jaimin Shah, CMD, Dev Infocomm, said the US elections have just been completed and it will be clear by January how much and what kind of business will come from there. Most companies will do the hiring, even in the coming calendar year. Companies will start new recruitments as the situation returns to normal. We will also be hiring after January.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Saturday announced the notification for Stenographer Group C, D Recruitment 2020 on its official website. With the announcement of the notification, the online registration process has started from October 10 and will continue till November 4, 2020.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade „C‟ (Group „B‟, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group „C‟) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply.

2. Vacancies:

• (a) Vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time (https://ssc.nic.in >Candidate‟s Corner > Tentative Vacancy).
• (b) Vacancies of Stenographer Grade „C‟ and Stenographers Grade „D‟ are in Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of Central Government, including their Attached and Subordinate offices located in various States and Union Territories all over the country.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.08.2020):

• (a) Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

• (b) As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10.06.2015 published in the Gazette of India all the degrees/ diplomas/ certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission. However, such degrees should be recognized for the relevant period when the candidate acquired the said qualification.

• (c) As per UGC (Open and Distance Learning) Regulations, 2017 published in official Gazette on 23-06-2017, under Part-III (8) (v), the programmes in engineering, medicine, dental, nursing, pharmacy, architecture and physiotherapy etc are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode. However, pursuant to the Hon‟ble Supreme Court Order dated 11- 03-2019 in MA No. 3092/2018 in W.P. (C) No. 382/2018 titled Mukul Kumar Sharma & others Vs AICTE and others, B. Tech. degree/ diploma in Engineering awarded by IGNOU to the students who were enrolled up to academic year 2009-10 shall be treated as valid, wherever applicable.

• (d) All candidates who are declared qualified in the Computer Based Examination and the Skill Test will be required to produce all the relevant Certificates in original such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificates etc. for completion of 12th standard or equivalent examination as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before 01.08.2020, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission. The candidates who are able to prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/ she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the educational qualification. It is reiterated that the result of requisite educational qualification must have been declared by the concerned Board by the specified date. Mere processing of the result by the Board by the crucial cut-off date does not fulfill the EQ requirement.

• (e) Order/ letter in respect of equivalent Educational Qualifications will be required to be produced by the candidates at the time of Document Verification or as and when required by the Commission, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, in respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of the Notice of examination.

• (f) Candidates who have not acquired the essential qualification as on 01.08.2020 will not be eligible and need not apply.

Applications without such date printed on the photograph will be rejected. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should be without cap, spectacles and both ears should be visible.

• (c) Last date and time for submission of online applications is 04.11.2020 (23:30).

• (d) Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

The State Bank currently has around two and a half lakh employees and the bank is always ready to meet the needs of its employees and help them in their lifetime, the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that State Bank of India was bringing a new VRS-2020 for its employees, which could accommodate about 30,190 employees.

According to reports, SBI's VRS scheme will be open to all permanent officers and employees who have served the bank for 25 years or have reached the age of 55 by the due date. The scheme will be open till the end of December 2020 or January 2021. I.e. application for VRS will be accepted during this period.

What will benefit employees

Employees whose VRS application will be accepted will receive 50 per cent of the salary in the form of ex gratia for the remaining service period till the actual retirement date. Apart from this, you will also get fun benefits like gratuity, pension, provident fund and medical benefits.
