  • The trolley will leave every 36 seconds and 800 devotees will reach the Ambaji temple in 25 trolleys in one hour.
  • People will be attracted to Girnar and tourism in Saurashtra will get a boost - Usha Breco's Managing Director

The e-launch of Girnar Temple Ropeway was to take place today, I reached Junagadh in the morning. Junagadh saw a different kind of enthusiasm for the ropeway. I reached Bhavnath Taleti from where there is a 2.3 km ropeway route to Ambaji Temple. Where 25 trolleys were seen. Inquiries revealed that after the launch, the trolley would take off every 36 seconds and I would be able to cover the distance of 5 hours on foot in just 8 minutes. After the e-dedication to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani traveled in the ropeway and at 3 pm I got a chance to sit in the ropeway. There was enough space for 8 people in a trolley but we also had 4 people with social distance. From the foothills the trolley headed towards its destination. As the trolley moved forward, Girnar's supernatural sight was seen. Which is rarely seen this way. Below is a lush green forest. Scenes that the earth knows not to be covered with a green sheet .... In 8 minutes I reached Girnar mountain. In these 8 minutes, I saw the scene of Girnar with my own eyes, which is shown in a video ....

The ropeway will be open to the public from tomorrow

There are currently 25 trolleys operating in the ropeway, in one of which DivyaBhaskar's team is riding and showing you this LIVE view. Below is a lush green forest. From Gheghur Jungle you can reach Maa Ambaji in just 8 minutes. Asia's largest Girnar ropeway has been launched today, but will be open to the public from tomorrow.

The launch of Girnar Ropeway is a moment of pride for us - Usha Braco's Managing Director

It was time to sit in the trolley and get a chance to talk to Apoorva Jawar, Managing Director of Usha Broco "The launch of the Girnar ropeway is a moment of pride for all of us," he said. Due to the ropeway, the time to reach Girnar was reduced to less than 10 minutes instead of a few hours. This will make the journey to Girnar much easier for the pilgrims and will attract more people to come to Girnar and boost the tourism activity in Saurashtra.

It takes 5-6 hours to climb 9,999 steps

Ambaji Mata's temple is 2.3 km away from Bhavnath foothills on Girnar mountain. Is far away. This distance can be cut in about 8 minutes by ropeway. It currently takes 5-6 hours to climb 9,999 steps from Taleti to Datta Temple, out of which the distance to Ambaji Mata Temple i.e. 5500 steps can be cut by ropeway.
