Sub-inspector Jadav, who was on duty at the Garbada police station in Dahod, was on duty when he received news of the death of his elder brother in Ahmedabad. Jadav was constantly on duty when the lockdown was announced in the state by the Gujarat government. In the meantime the news of the brother's death had broken him. In 7 hours, they returned from Dahod to Ahmedabad. Except for the 7 hour journey, a few hours were allotted for the brother's funeral.
On March 24, Sub-Inspector Jadav's brother Hardev Singh Jadav (63 years) passed away. Hardev Singh, who lives in Ahmedabad, passed away at 3 pm late last night after a long illness. Jadhav talked to his superiors about this and was leaving for Ahmedabad at five in the morning. He was again on duty at 3 pm that same day. It is worth mentioning that it takes about 3.5 hours to reach Ahmedabad from Garbada. Sub-Inspector Jadav was not present in Garbada for 10 hours. Of which about 7 hours were spent traveling and the remaining hours were spent at the funeral....
