Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared well to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID 19 – the Corona Virus. With active support of the people of India, we have been able to contain the spread of the Virus in our country. The most important factor in preventing the spread of the Virus locally is to empower the citizens with the right information and taking precautions as per the advisories being issued by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

-This package is 1 lakh 70 thousand crore.
- In the Prime Minister's Poor Welfare Food Scheme, 80 million poor people will be provided food. There will be no poor appetite so each person will be given 5 kg of wheat or rice for the next three months. Apart from that, they will also get the same amount of five kilos previously received.
-1 kg of pulses of choice will be provided to the family for the next three months. Will also be given.

-The daily wage in MNREGA has been increased from Rs. 182 to Rs. 200. 5 crore families will benefit.
